Welcome to experience Finland's largest cannon on historic Kuivasaari
A popular and unique nature trip to the closed military island from Helsinki's Market Square aboard Royal Line's m/s RoyalCat. Themed trips are available for a limited time only on three summer weekends in August. Salmon and vegetable soup is served on board.
The main attraction of the guided tour is the huge Obukhov cannon tower with its 12-inch barrel, which is technically fully functional.

The price includes a cruise ticket, salmon soup (L, G) or vegetable soup (V, G) on the ship, as well as a guided tour of the island and access to the museum cannon (part of the ticket revenue is used for the cannon's renovation and maintenance).

- Return from Kuivasaari at 1:30 PM, ends at the Market Square at 2:30 PM.

- Return from Kuivasaari at 4:00 PM, ends at Market Square at 5:00 PM.
The boat trip lasts about 1 hour. The total duration of the day trip is about 4.5 hours. You will spend about 2.5 hours on the island.
NOTE!

Entry to the tour requires Finnish citizenship, so a passport or ID card is required. Identity will be checked upon arrival on the island. The last day, Sun 31.08.2025, is also open to foreign visitors.

It is a good idea to dress for the weather on the island and bring good walking shoes.
